Arthrosamid® is an advanced injectable hydrogel developed specifically for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. It is composed of 97.5% water and 2.5% cross-linked polyacrylamide, forming a stable, non-biodegradable gel designed to integrate with the joint lining.

How Arthrosamid® Works
Arthrosamid® is a synovial scaffold that permanently combines with the synovial lining in the knee. In early stage and severe osteoarthritis, this membrane becomes a cytokine storm of inflammatory cells causing stiffness and pain. Once injected via ultrasound, Arthrosamid® takes 4-6 weeks and out to 3 months to have a clinical effect—this is a physical, biological process. The natural filtering process of the synovium uptakes the inert hydrogel, and over time it becomes integrated, reducing inflammation and stiffness while improving the elasticity of the joint. The result is sustained pain relief and improved joint function that can last for years from a single injection.
